Questions and answers

Storage, verification and what each box contains. For anything not covered here, write to connect@biomedlab.health.

Storage and handling

How should the vials be stored?

Refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from light. Do not freeze. The box shields the vials from light, so keep them in it until use.

Where are the lot and expiry dates?

Lot, manufacture and expiry dates are printed on the box.

Verification

How does verification work?

Every box comes with its own code in the format BML-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Enter it on the verify page. The result shows the product and dose the code was issued for, the date of its first check and the total number of checks, including yours.

Only a fingerprint of each code is stored on our server, never the code itself. Letters are not case-sensitive, and dashes and spaces are optional.

What do the results mean?
Authentic, 1 check
First verification of this code.
Authentic, 2 checks
Checked once before. If that check was yours, the product is genuine.
Likely counterfeit, 3–9 checks
Genuine codes are normally checked once. Repeated checks suggest a copied code.
Counterfeit, 10 or more checks
The code is considered compromised.
Not found
No such code was issued. Check the characters and try again.
My result says likely counterfeit or counterfeit. What now?

A genuine code is normally checked once, by the person who opened the box. Several checks mean the same code has been entered many times, which is what happens when a code is copied onto other boxes. Treat the product as not genuine and do not use it in your work.

Write to connect@biomedlab.health with where and when you bought it.

I checked my code twice. Is my product still genuine?

The second check is shown as authentic with a note giving the date of the first check. If that first check was yours, the product is genuine. From the third check on, the result is reported as likely counterfeit, so check a code once and keep the result.

The product or dose shown does not match my box.

Each code is issued for one product and one dose. If the result names a different product or dose from the one in your hands, treat the product as counterfeit, whatever the status says, and let us know at connect@biomedlab.health.

The code is not found.

Check each character. Codes read BML followed by 16 letters and digits, and never contain 0, 1, I, L or O, so a character that looks like one of those is another letter or digit. If the code still is not found, the code was not issued by Biomedlab.

The product

What is in the box?
  • One vial of lyophilised peptide, at the strength printed on the box.
  • One vial of bacteriostatic water, 2 ml, for reconstitution.
  • A unique verification code.

The full line, 22 strengths of eight peptides, is in the catalog.

What does the colour of the product name mean?

It marks the strength within the line, from mint for the lowest dose to red for the highest. The dose is always printed beside it.

Are Biomedlab products for human use?

No. Biomedlab products are supplied for laboratory research. They are not medicines and are not intended for human or veterinary use, or for diagnosing, treating or preventing any condition. Nothing on this site is dosing advice.

Does the calculator tell me how much to use?

No. The reconstitution calculator only converts between the amount of peptide, the volume of water and syringe units. It does not recommend any amount.
